Divorce / Legal Separation
Oregon is a no fault state which means you do not need a reason to file for divorce. The only issue you need to cite on the Petition for Dissolution is irreconcilable differences.
Legal separation is similar to divorce, however, the marriage is not dissolved. You may prefer a legal separation for several reasons including religious ones.
Same sex domestic partnerships in Oregon are legally binding contracts, and must be dissolved by a procedure similar to a divorce. Some couples may have later entered into a marriage, or they may be dissolving the domestic partnership.
Domestic violence
Domestic violence involves forms of physical injury or abuse, emotional abuse, or threats of such. Typically, these tactics are used by one adult in a relationship with another adult and/ or children.
Domestic violence is present in all cultures, age groups, socioeconomic classes, sexual orientations, and communities of faith. In some cases, stalking may be also be a component and involves unwanted contact which can cause reasonable fear regarding physical safety.

Animal Law
Animal law is a growing field that overlaps with other fields of law. Animal law issues may include but are not limited to:
assistance and emotional support animal policies
nuisance issues such as excessive barking from a neighbor’s dog
hoarding problems

contract disputes with pet sitters and boarding facilities
landlord-tenant pet disputes
Unbundled services
Unbundled legal services or limited scope representation are great when you want to represent yourself or do not need an attorney for the whole scope of your matter. If you need assistance with completing documents such as a name change or gender change, document review prior to signing, or drafting a document, unbundled legal services may be the best option for you.
In other circumstances you may need some legal advice and coaching. Whatever the circumstance may be, I will address your concerns and help you navigate the often intimidating and confusing legal system.
